Yogi Bear is one of my favorite cartoon characters. He’s currently a part of the cartoon show
“Jellystone”. While entertaining, it falls into the hyperactive meme route that modern cartoons
strive for. When drawing these concepts, “We Bare Bears” naturally came as a style influence.
“The Yogi Showgi” cartoons would adhere to the classic Hanna Barberra shorts yet evolve with
the humorous addition of modern tech and culture akin to the new Looney Tunes shorts. You
could take the bear out of the pik-a-nik basket, but you can’t take the pik-a-nik basket out of the
bear. Or something.
