Before Universal introduced Lon Chaney Jr. in the classic “Wolfman” they had a lesser known werewolf movie that came 6 years before it titled “Werewolf of London” (ah-wooooo). I watched my DVD of it last week or so and though it isn’t as good but it’s still very entertaining to watch. His first transformation into a werewolf was more clever and satisfying than Lon Chaney Jr’s.
So the past 2 nights I painted this. It was the toughest and I’m not as happy with it but it is what it is.
Hey y’all. It’s been a while hasn’t it? WHO CARES.
So I have this digital painting that I work on in between digital painting. Therefore I only work on it maybe a couple times a month for less than an hour. It’s basically a warm up. Like, “Okay, gotta get in the mood. I’ll paint this shoulder pad quickly and move onto whatever project.” Anyway I finished it today.
It’s Batman of course, duh. I referenced that picture from The Dark Knight. You know the one. Anyway, yeah, work has been arting me HARD. That’s why I haven’t updated much. Haven’t touched me comics either. BUT I WILL!
Yuh see, I have this little Batman figure on my desk and a post it note that reads, “Never Give Up.” Because it’s true. Be like Batman!
Scarecrow may have broken his mind, Ra’s his senses, Joker his spirit, Dent his hope, Bane his body, and Talia his heart…
So I’ve been busy with muh job doing game art related activities and whatnot and figured I’d share some concept art I did FOR MYSELF.
Totally not for a game or anything of that matter. I did them for, uh, fun. Yeah, that’s right…fun. “I’m” not going in this direction with this…project…so I figured I’d upload some pieces that will seemingly not see the light of day.
I wanted to do some fantasy related landscapes. So let me transport you into the realm of
Once again these were not done for a game or anything similar that’s for sure…
I had a lot of fun doing these. They’re all original work. Everything was painted up digitally. I mean, I looked at some resources for textures and whatnot…but still everything’s done by hand. Kinda disappointed this is not the direction I’m going but I always add too much realism in my projects. So a more cutesy cartoonish route I go.
