Taste My Sweets…

I was thinking about Halloween pails (as I usually do) and this idea sprung to mind. There’s just something about a pumpkin pailed sultry skeleton man offering his head-candy that really gets me in the Halloween mood, y’know?

I don’t really take part in the whole #Drawtober schtick. I never really seen the point of straining your imagination by sharing quick half assed sketches every single day of October when instead I can share something I’m proud of maybe once or twice a week. I mean, whose counting anyway?

I’m rarely ever happy with how my stuff comes out. So much so that I don’t even refer to it as “art”. See my first sentence? I called it “stuff”.  Though once in a while I’ll look back to see my progress when it comes to my lines, color, composition etc. If you head over to my instagram you’ll see the difference from a similar Wolverine drawing I did in 2012. Is it worth the 6 years of progress? Maybe. But I’m happy with the progress I’ve made. I turned to my favorite Spider-man artist, John Romita Sr., to mimic his colors. Spidey will always be my guy.

Rest In Peace

Well, it seems as if the legend of The Undertaker has finally come to a close at Sunday’s Wrestlemania 33. Though it’s sad to see him walk into the fog entrenched moonlight, I feel it’s time for the man to truly rest in peace (ha.) and enjoy his personal life.

He’ll always be professional wrestling’s greatest character and Vince Mcmahon’s greatest creation. And he’ll always be my favorite of all time. I was extremely lucky to meet him when I was a kid and I even got to witness his jaw dropping entrance one last time in person last month. Couldn’t be happier as an Undertaker fan.

So here’s my ‘lil tribute drawing to the Deadman, the Phenom, the demon of Death Valley : The Undertaker.
